Looking for something different in a family vacation? Come & experience total peace & relaxation in our private home "down on the farm". We're away from the crowds yet close enough to everything.
Diamond K Lodge, new to the rental market, is a 2400 sq ft, modern, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home reminiscent of an old country farmhouse with its sprawling porches & pine floors. It is spacious & comfortable with an open floor plan, central heat/air plus ceiling fans. The living room, huge den and kitchen divide the house with 2 bedrooms and a bath on each side making it perfect for 2 families to share & still have privacy. The large master BLUE BAYOU room has QUEEN bed, ensuite bath & walk in closet, the BUNKROOM has TWIN beds, the OLDE WEST room features antique furniture with FULL bed, & the SANIBEL ISLAND room with tropical theme has another QUEEN bed. All bedrooms are carpeted, and there are large area rugs in LR & den. A PAK N PLAY is provided for your little one, & a highchair. The laundry room has a full size washer & dryer. The spacious kitchen has brand new, solid oak cabinets crafted from trees right here on the farm. The large island contains a glasstop range & oven on one side & seating for 4 on the other with additional seating for 6 in the dining area. New appliances have been added. Refrigerator has icemaker. There are also: dishes, microwave, coffeepot, blender, toaster, china, flatware, utensils, glassware, pots & pans & everything else you might need for cooking. The 2 large bathrooms have tub/shower combos, and new vanities. Porches run the length of the house, front & back, where you can relax in the swing or large rockers, enjoy your morning coffee, watch the hummingbirds & martins & the cattle grazing in the pastures. Catch glimpses of deer that visit the farm almost daily. You will also find a table & chairs on the back porch for dining out along with a charcoal grill. We have covered parking for 2 vehicles plus plenty of room for boat, trailer, horse trailer, etc. Bring your horse! We have facilities & feed.
See Samson & Elvis, our 2 huge Brahman bulls, tour the chicken house/laying hen operation, & ride a horse.
CENTRAL HEAT/AIR. SATELLITE TV in DEN & MASTER. You will need a cell phone, as there is no house phone.
STARTER SUPPLIES of coffee, creamer, bath soap, toilet tissue, paper towels, dish detg., & dishwasher & laundry detg. are supplied. If only staying a weekend, you may not need to purchase more.
We also offer complimentary breakfast items such as farm fresh eggs & homemade sausage, when we have it, & that is most of the time.
The lodge is located on our family farm in the Nathan area, where you will be surrounded by 220 acres of trees & pastureland. We are only 8 miles from Murfreesboro, AR, home to the world famous Crater of Diamonds State Park, where you "keep what you find", and they've been finding some big ones lately. The Ka-Do-Ha Indian Village near town is a must for kids now featuring concerts on Sat nts during summer. Visit the great new zip-lining adventure near Okolona, AR, Wegners crystal mine near Norman, AR is great fun for the whole family. Old Washington State Park near Hope offers a wonderful historic adventure. We are just minutes from beautiful Lake Greeson, where you can enjoy fishing, picnicking, swimming and water sports. There's a great trout fishing stream nearby, and a river runs near our property. Ours is a good location for your stay while deer or turkey hunting in the area. (no hunting on the farm), Trailriders are welcome, as we can accommodate your horses. You might also consider this secluded location for your honeymoon getaway. Whether your group is large or small, you will enjoy our big, comfy house.
Owner's home & a small cabin are the only others on the property and a good distance away, so this is a very private as well as safe location.
We are an easy drive into town to grocery store & restaurants.
