Jerry Kizzia (pronounced Kiz-eye-ah) is a long time farmer & cattle rancher who has resided on Diamond K Farm most of his life. His wife, Jane, retired from state employment, now enjoys taking care of the Lodge. On the farm, along with the cattle & horses, is a poultry house/laying hen operation with 12,000 chickens. You might enjoy touring this with your children. Kids also like meeting & feeding Sampson & Elvis, our 2 huge but gentle Brahman bulls.
We love it here & hope you will too. Catch a sunrise from the back porch or a sunset off the front, watch the fog roll in at night from the nearby river, or experience the awesome beauty of a country night during a full moon. The stars are brighter, the air is fresher & the atmosphere is very relaxing. Take a memorable break from your fast paced life at DK Lodge.
